Once permits are approved, our crew arrives to do the physical work. Most residential installations are completed in just one to two days, with a clean job site and no mess left behind.
4. Final inspection & Permission to Operate
After the panels are on your roof, local authorities and the utility perform a final inspection to confirm everything meets code. Once you receive Permission to Operate (PTO), you can officially flip the switch and start generating your own power.

Physical installation typically takes 1-3 days. The complete process—design through PTO, including permitting and utility review—usually spans 2-3 months. Your daily routine continues normally throughout; the heavy lifting happens outside and the paperwork happens behind the scenes.
